In our opinion there is no such thing as too much Lynyrd Skynyrd, but as TN Vols fans we can understand not wanting to listen to “Sweet Home Alabama.”
Riley Green was doing an interview in 2019 when he remembered a funny memory with his dad.
Green said he had “Sweet Home Alabama” on repeat and his dad got tired of it.
Green said him and his dad would ride around together, and he would be playing the Skynyrd song on repeat on his cassette tape.
“I can remember my dad throwing a Lynyrd Skynyrd cassette tape out the window of his truck rolling down the road one day, because I listened to ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ over and over and he was tired of hearing it.”
How many of us have heard a new song and played it on repeat because we love it so much?
