Country stars are teaming up to honor The Judds’ 40th anniversary by releasing their versions of 14 of Naomi and Wynonna’s biggest hits.
The album will be called “A Tribute To The Judds.”
The all-star tribute will feature tracks from names like Dolly Parton, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Jamey Johnson, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Megan Moroney, Molly Tuttle, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood and a TON of others.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani teamed up for a cover of “Love Is Alive,” the 1985 single from The Judds’ debut studio album Why Not Me.
The song was the fourth chart-topper for The Judds, and one of eight straight singles to hit #1 on the charts.
Both Shelton and Stefani said they are going to keep it as close to the original as possible.
