Family Destinations Guide created a ranking of the best 150 small towns in America, and three of them were in Tennessee!
The study they held polled 3,000 families across America in search of what are the best small towns that are overlooked by big cities.
The three towns that made the list are Gatlinburg, Tullahoma, and Franklin!
Gatlinburg ranked high at the number 6 spot as the best small town in America. The list stated and described Gatlinburg as a “vibrant mountain town surrounded by stunning natural beauty, rich history, and old-fashioned Southern hospitality.
Ranked below that is the great town of Tullahoma ranking number 26. The list shares that families enjoy the small town because of its scenic beauty, outdoor recreation, history, and cultural attractions.
The last small town in Tennessee ranked but certainly not last is Franklin ranking as the 47th. The town is generally known for its history, from antique shops and a civil war battlefield and booming shopping centers. The list says that this town is the perfect blend of old-time charm and modern culture.
