Bobby Bones Show
Rock the Cradle 2019 is a benefit concert on Friday, April 12 at The Shed in Maryville featuring live entertainment by Stone Broke Saints, The Young Fables and Monet Maddux, great food by The Smokehouse and dessert trucks, a silent auction, and a raffle.
All proceeds benefit our education and outreach programs. Our mission is to raise awareness of Tennessee’s Safe Haven Law in order to prevent newborn abandonment throughout our state. This law allows a scared mother, who has hidden her pregnancy, to anonymously surrender her unharmed newborn to staff at designated Secret Safe Place facilities without fear of prosecution. Because of the Safe Haven Law and the efforts of our organization, there are 103 newborns who have been safely surrendered and placed with adoptive families since the law was enacted in 2001. It is only through the support of our community and fellow Tennesseans that we have been able to save lives and impact our state in this way. Events like Rock the Cradle are important and necessary for us to continue our work. While our administrative office is located in Maryville, we serve mothers and babies in the entire state.
Not only does Rock the Cradle provide the community a great opportunity to get involved, have fun, and raise funds for our organization, it also gives us a wonderful way to celebrate all of the babies who have been protected by the Safe Haven Law.
