A real-life Home Alone incident played out over the holidays, when Spirit Airlines accidentally put a 6-year-old boy on the wrong flight.
The boy, Casper, was supposed to travel from Philadelphia to Fort Myers, FL, but ended up on a flight to Orlando – some 160 miles away.
That’s basically the plot of Home Alone 2, where Kevin McAllister boards the wrong plane and ends up in New York instead of Miami.
While Casper was eventually reunited with his grandmother, his family is still waiting answers about what happened.
