Anytime we can brag on our cowboy Cody Johnson, we’re going to!
The annual Country Music Awards is only a couple weeks away and the nominations have been announced.
This year, Cody Johnson racked up with 5 nominations!
Cody has been nominated for album of the year with ‘Leather‘, music video of the year for ‘Dirt Cheap‘ and ‘The Painter‘ AND song of the year for ‘Dirt Cheap.’
In a recent interview Cody said he was on the road and all of a sudden, his phone started blowing up.
Cody said he called his wife to ask if someone died or got sick, but was surprised to hear his wife say that he has been nominated for 5 CMA awards!
What a humble guy… Cody had no idea he was nominated for anything!
