Dolly Parton is teaming up with her sister Rachel Parton George to create a cookbook that is filled with their tried and true dishes.
The Parton sister’s cookbook is called “Good Lookin’ Cookin'” and will be available for purchase on September 17th, 2024.
Now Dolly and her sister Rachel grew up with 9 other siblings in Sevierville, TN, so you know their momma made some good comfort food and meals.
The new cookbook will include 80 more recipes like barbecue spare ribs, mac & cheese, and strawberry shortcake.
Of course the cookbook also features some personal things about the sisters such as which condiment is on the table for every Parton family mean and which dish Rachel makes for Dolly’s birthday every year.
“I love good cooking, but not as much as I love my sister Rachel. So, getting to combine the two was a joy beyond belief for me,” Dolly said in a statement.
“I do believe you’re going to love all these great recipes, and I think you’re gonna have as much fun reading these stories and things that we put together for you as we did,” continued the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. “I can’t wait to get this book in your hands, and for you to get this food on your table.”
