Justin Moore stopped by to talk to Bobby Bones and the crew about his new album “Stray Dogs” and why he thinks he is an “outlier” in country music.

Justin Moore tells Bobby Bones that there have been many moments in his career where he’s been labeled as an outlaw or an outlier. So that is why his new album is titled “Stray Dogs.”

Moore noted that award shows have never paid attention to him. Which he also says he isn’t noting that to sound rude, but he thinks it is a bit weird.

Moore says his recent single with Pricilla Block, “You, Me and Whiskey” was a little out of his comfort zone. But Moore says when he first met Block he was blown away by her voice and songwriting. Moore says after watching her sing for the first time, he went up to her after the show to talk to her and let her know he will help in any way he can.

Moore says he had a hard time asking Riley Green to be on his new song, “Everybody Get Along.” Moore says he hates asking people to do stuff because he never wants that person to feel obligated. Over the years Moore and Green have got to know each other pretty well. Moore says the guys in the song “Everybody Get Along” remind him a lot of his friendship with Green. They are identical but also disagree on everything.
