Chase Rice’s music career kickstarted when he co-wrote the hit song “Cruise” for Florida Georgia Line. Even though Rice had several more hits as a recording artist, he tells Billboard he didn’t feel fulfilled. With his new album “I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell”, he is looking to change that and get out of the “bro-country”.
Rice says with this new album he really focused on his own sound and being his own artist. Now that the album is out, fans can decide if Rice has transitioned successfully into his own style of country.
