Morgan Wallen had a top ten hit with his first single “Sand in My Boots” but it could have sounded a lot different if the artist who initially wanted it the song first had gotten their hands on it.
Hardy revealed on a recent episode of Apple Music Country’s Happy Hour Radio that Luke Bryan was interested in recording the tune. Unfortunately for him, the “One Beer” singer, along with co-writers Ashley Gorley and Josh Osborne, had plans for Wallen to have the song thinking he would make it cool. Morgan’s response to hearing Luke’s interest, “Sorry Luke!”
“Sand In My Boots” is the first song off the track list for Morgan Wallen’s new album “Dangerous: The Double Album.” Available now!
